The course will help you take an idea and validate it through our proven structured (but iterative) process. You’ll have the opportunity to submit your work each week for feedback.
Week 1: Orientation; appreciating your context, including strategic and competitor analysis.
Week 2: Understanding your customer, pains gains, jobs-to-be-done and personas.
Week 3: Exploring your market; market sizing and business models.
Week 4: Experimenting to win; testing assumptions, prototypes and metrics for success.
Week 5: Submissions and certificates.
Throughout the course, the course instructors will be on hand and available via a private Slack community.

The instructors built, designed, tested and continue to improve the course all whilst working with companies like Walmart, The Economist, Tesco and other world leaders. They’ll be helping you apply the tools and techniques, sharing their insight and experience, as well as being on hand to answer your questions and provide feedback on the work you do as part of the course.
Mark creates content and develops courses for Value, Flow, Quality. He’s interested in people, products, and how we can design experiences that have an impact. The rest of his time is as a Product Management Consultant working with clients for Emergn.
Pedro is a Product Management & Innovation Consultant at Emergn, and a Product Developer for Value, Flow, Quality, where we are passionate about making cutting edge methodologies ubiquitous, through action-based learning education.
Phil is Chief Operating Officer for Emergn and Product Manager for VFQ. In between running Emergn and working with our clients, he writes content and develops courses for Value, Flow, Quality. He is passionate about helping people change and own the way they work and help them develop their own passions.
Gina is an experienced commercial strategist, consultant and trainer with many years of experience in product and proposition development, leading commercial organisations through growth and change. She combines this with an up to the minute understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies.
The activities will guide your application of theory to solve real problems in an easy-to-follow way. You’ll apply the latest and most effective tools and techniques.

Digital course book
The course book will help you explore the thinking behind our activities. With a structure that mimics the online course, you’ll be able to find everything you need, as well as resources to stretch your learning.
4-8 WEEKS / 6HRS PER WEEK
The course is designed to take you 4-6 hours per week over a period of 4 weeks. There’s no time limit to access your course, so if you decide to take a bit more time, that’s fine.
SUBMITTING YOUR WORK
If you submit your work each week, and produce a final submission, we’ll issue with a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
