It’s hard to consistently stay optimistic, especially when you’re going through a specific change or set of circumstances that are not as favorable as you expected or desired. I recently came across another profound quote from Henry Ford that stuck with me.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.” ― Henry Ford
I’m certain that Ford’s quote wasn’t so much about positive thinking as it relates to conjuring up some false sense of security. It’s more about maintaining a healthy mindset and perspective. The truth is most of us deal with first world problems and the challenges of managing work, change and people are not only common but expected.
We get to decide how we’ll think about our circumstances today. We get to decide how we’ll respond and how we’ll apply the right mindset.
